Is there anyone interested in the biography of an ordinary guy? I thought so. But what if you’re just not in a band with you’re sister/wife, your dad has no major modeling agency, you just didn’t spend your record deal advance on a trip around the world or weren’t brought up by chimps in the jungle? Right, you grab a pencil, think hard and make up some brilliant stuff.

Not Overeasy.

He is an old scruffy guy lives in the cozy capitol of the good ol’ Netherlands. Being the former drummer for Solex, he pondered for a couple of years over the question ‘what the heck was all the fancy equipment on stage?’

In the end he bought himself a sample machine and worked on a bunch of grooves and tracks. The little patterns he made, turned into songs and with a little help from a couple of friends, these turned into real songs.

The icing on the the cake is the voice of no other than Stuart Brown, the guy who can be heard on Solex’ The Laughing Stock Of Indie Rock’, but is probably still selling hotdogs on a sunny Australian beach.

Bang Your Buck is the first record by Overeasy and features some 17 tracks. We can only say: who needs a lie to sell a great record? Well?
